Biography

Ziyi Wu is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science specializing in comparative politics and political communication. His research interests include Chinese politics, government censorship, and political rumors in the context of social media, mostly in authoritarian regimes.
 
Before coming to MIT, Wu worked as an research assistant at Liberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He graduated with a BS, with the highest distinction, in political science from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
