Liberty Ladd
Biography
Liberty Ladd is an SM candidate at the MIT Department of Political Science specializing in American Politics. Her research interests include the administration and theory of American elections, Ranked Choice Voting, and equitable representation in American elected office. While pursuing her SM, Liberty is simultaneously completing her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Political Science from MIT. She plays varsity field hockey for MIT, is a member of Air Force ROTC, and competes for MIT Mock Trial. Most recently, she was awarded the 2022 Truman Scholarship for commitment to public service.
