Elizabeth Parker-Magyar

Biography

Elizabeth Parker-Magyar is a PhD candidate in Comparative Politics and Political Methodology. Her research interests include political economy, bureaucracy, and protest, especially in the Middle East. She is a Graduate Fellow at MIT’s GOV/LAB and Global Diversity Lab.
 
Before coming to MIT, Elizabeth worked in various roles in the humanitarian and policy response to the conflict in Syria and completed a Fulbright fellowship in Jordan. She holds a BA from Hamilton College and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where she received the Christian A. Herter Award for academic achievement.
