Young-Kyung Kim

Biography

Young-Kyung Kim is a Ph.D. student studying methods and American politics, with a particular interest in emotion and identity. They are an Ida M. Green Fellow and a Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Scholar.

Before joining MIT, Young-Kyung received their master’s in social research methods at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and bachelor’s degrees in international relations and computational linguistics at the University of Southern California.

Young-Kyung also enjoys being outdoors, and through-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2022.
