Munisa Djumanova
Biography
Munisa Djumanova is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), specializing in comparative politics, political economy, and computational methodology. Her research examines how political institutions and state capacity shape long-term economic development. Prior to joining MIT, Munisa earned an M.A. in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.Sc. in Economics with Finance from Westminster International University in Tashkent. She previously conducted research at the Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development (CCSDD) and interned with the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center.
