Biography

Emily Dunn is a PhD student in international relations and security studies in MIT's Department of Political Science. Her primary research interests include nuclear strategy, deterrence, and proliferation. Emily holds a M.A. in International Affairs and a B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining MIT, Emily worked as a contractor with The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters on International nuclear agreements and incident response. Previously, she supported the Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration on department-wide arms control education, implementation, and compliance.
