Biography
Christine Liu is a PhD candidate in international relations at MIT. Her dissertation examines how states derive power from global production structures, and her broader research interests include economic statecraft, great power competition, and US-China relations. Prior to joining MIT, she earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
