Carla Garcia
Biography
Carla Garcia is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science specializing in comparative politics and methodology. Her research interests include contentious politics and identity, with a focus on the Global South.
Carla graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a BA in Political Science and a BS in Economics. She is a recipient of the American Political Science Association Minority Fellowship and the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
She is supported by the Edie N. Goldenberg (1967) Fund for the 2022-23 academic year.
