Biography
Carla Garcia is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science studying comparative politics and political economy. Her research interests include social movements and public opinion, with a focus on student protest movements in Latin America.
Carla graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a BA in Political Science and a BS in Economics. She is a recipient of the American Political Science Association Minority Fellowship and the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
