Angus Samuel Padley
Biography
Angus Padley is a Political Science PhD student at MIT. His research interests include social identity, social capital, and political polarization. Prior to joining MIT, Angus worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. He attended the Australian National University (ANU), where he earned a Bachelor of Political Science (Honors) and a Bachelor of Economics. While at ANU, Angus was awarded the L F Crisp Memorial Prize for the highest overall mark in the 2023 political science honors cohort.
