Amelia Frederking
Biography
Amelia Frederking is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science specializing in Security Studies. Her research interests include military recruitment, wartime mobilization, and military decision-making processes. Amelia graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Political Science and Mathematics. A recipient of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation scholarship, she worked as an Operations Research Analyst for the Army Futures Command upon graduation. She previously interned at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and American Enterprise Institute’s Critical Threats Project.
