Professor Ben Ross Schneider honored as Committed to Caring for acting as a "bedrock of compassion"
Schneider strove to develop bi-weekly meetings into useful resources for his students, repeatedly inviting former members of his research group to expose current students to the various successful career paths the alumni had explored and were thriving in.
The Office of Graduate Education honored Ben Ross Schneider as "committed to caring." Criteria for the award included Impact, Reach, Excellence in scholarship, Equity and inclusivity and Professional development as an advisor.
