This workshop will teach you how to scrape text from the web using Python. We'll learn the libraries and a basic recipe that will cover 80% of the text scraping tasks you'll encounter and we'll apply these skills to write a scraper to download and structure reports on refugees from ReliefWeb. Although attendance at "Introduction to Data Science with Python" is strongly encouraged, this workshop does not require previous knowledge of Python.
