Using GitHub for Version Control and Collaboration
November 30, 2018 3:30PM E53-482, Millikan Room
GitHub is one of the most popular ways for programmers to manage and share code on the internet. But GitHub is more than just a tool for programmers. Researchers can use it to simultaneously work on a paper, manage assigned tasks and conflicts, and keep track of different versions of code/papers. Github offers a more flexible means to collaborate with others than other alternatives such as Dropbox.
We will be providing snacks and refreshments. If you plan to attend, please RSVP using the link below so we can send preparatory instructions and materials to you before the workshop.
