This workshop will serve as a gentle introduction to data science using the Python programming language. We will cover the fundamentals of Python programming as well as how to use different tools in the Python data science stack (from dataframes to regressions to scatter-plots and more!). More broadly, you will learn how to effectively use these tools to create powerful data analysis pipelines for political science research. This workshop does not require previous knowledge of Python, however prior set-up and familiarization of tools covered in workshop is highly recommended. Proficiency in the R programming language is expected.
