Cross-Cultural Converse Workshop

On Saturday, September 30, Professor Nazli Choucri is chairing The Cross-Cultural Converse workshop from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Room 4-370. The workshop is the first of a series which will to bring people of different cultures together to encourage understanding and consider solutions to the greatest threats that face humanity, including climate change and nuclear proliferation. Through these cross cultural conversations, the organizers hope to bring the goals of sustained peace and prosperity further within reach of all people.
The Cross-Cultural Converse is being convened by Professor Choucri; Jonathan King, Professor of Biology; and Min Chen, Professor of Physics, in accordance with the United Nations’ theme “One Nation, One Dream.”
