
Charlotte Ye
Biography
Charlotte Ye is a PhD student in security studies and quantitative methods at MIT's Department of Political Science. Her current research focuses on the political economy of security, influence and information warfare, and Asia-Pacific security issues. Charlotte holds an MA in International Relations with honors from the University of Chicago and a BSocSc in Politics and Public Administration with first-class honors from the University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining MIT, she worked in emergency response operations at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Geneva, Switzerland, and served as a policy analyst at the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. Charlotte is an MIT-Hong Kong Jockey Club Graduate Scholar.
