Andrew's research focuses on how demographic change affects how people think about politics, and how new and unexpected information alters how people think about politics. His dissertation investigates the effects of group threat on opinion about contemporary political and policy issues.

Andrew's methodological interests focus on causal inference, namely through the use of experimental and computational methods.
