Terrence Roh

Biography

Terrence Roh is a PhD student at the MIT Department of Political Science studying comparative politics and quantitative methods. He is a recipient of the MIT Kenan Sahin Presidential Fellowship. His research interests broadly lie in the political economy of development with a regional focus on Latin America. He is primarily focused on studying the development of state institutions in multi-ethnic societies, drawing on experimental and non-experimental evidence. He holds an MA in Political Science and a BA in Spanish (summa cum laude) from Seoul National University, where he was a Next Generation Fellow.
